Last night was just an incredible night. We played first, in front of some incredible bands, after us Walrus played then The Alumni Club then Love Me Electric then Flowers for Dorian. They were some incredible bands and we had an amazing time.
First of all, FUCK YOU. To every person that has been condescending towards us and our music. We worked so unbelievably hard on this show and EVERYTHING paid off last night. We played in front of roughly 150 people last night, which for those of you that don't know the feeling, was INCREDIBLE. At the end of the night we were told we drew 70 people to the show. It's an incredible feeling when you know that you don't know 70 people and couldn't possibly have made that many people come. We had roughly 30 friends and family show up, which doesn't account for the 40 other people that showed up. Its insane that we have fans. I know that sounds ridiculous that I'd be surprised that our band would have fans, but I've never been in a band that has fans before so it's all sort of mind blowing.
But aside from drawing that many people one of the most intense things of the evening was looking down from the stage during the set and seeing people I don't know singing along with me. It was crazy absolutely crazy.
We made a lot of friends last night and hopefully be playing with them again very soon.
That's all for now.

The Progression of John Kerry

Am I really the only one that can see it? It starts out as the dude from Boys Like Girls, to the infamous mobster Dorian Tyrell from The Mask, finally to his ripe old age. It's sort of eerie...
